The oldest club in Spain will soon cease to exist. It comes to Recreativo Huelva, who now venture into the third division, but is facing bankruptcy in the shortest possible time.
The team has a debt of 22 mln. Euros from the beginning of the campaign players have not received a single euro as wages. This burden is unsustainable and Rekran goes to closing, which could happen before the end of the month.
So bosses said they "invite supporters at the farewell match." It will be this Saturday against the second team of Granada and the ticket prices are symbolic - one euro.
Recreativo Huelva was founded in 1889 by two Scots and throughout its existence has five seasons in La Liga. His best ranking was eighth in season 2006/2007 and the 2003 game of the final of the Copa del Rey, but lost by Mallorca.
