Dinamo ready to send the Cup of Romania to the family of the deceased Ekeng

Dinamo Bucharest will honor the memory of midfielder Patrick Ekeng, who died on Friday, sending the Romanian Cup to his family in Cameroon, said sporting director Ionel Danchulesku.

Before this, Dynamo need to beat CFR Cluj in the final match of the tournament, scheduled for later today. "If we win the final, the Cup will travel to Cameroon. We want to put it on the grave of Patrick," said Dănciulescu.


Cameroonian footballer collapsed on the pitch in the 71 th minute of the match between Dinamo and Viitorul , without being touched by another player.

Ekeng was taken by ambulance to hospital emergency where for an hour the doctors fought for his life, but without success.
