Pellegrini worried: City might get away with top 4

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini did not hide their concerns about the final matches of his team in the Premier League. Chilean candidly acknowledged that it is likely "citizens" to remain outside the top 4 ranking, which would deprive them of participation in the Champions League next campaign.

On Sunday, City welcomes home Arsenal's third in the standings. Victory against Chelsea will leave "sky blue" favorites for fourth place ahead of Manchester United and West Ham. Pellegrini is on top of the difficult task to lift the spirit of his players after elimination in the semifinals of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

"It is very important to secure Champions League. I end his contract here, but at the same time worried that you will not qualify. I want to finish the season in the best way, "said Pellegrini.

"I think we deserve to be in the top 4 because all season we were at the top - from beginning to end. We were always among the top four positions. "

"The match against Arsenal is special because it is my last household after three intense years. I always had the support of the fans and I'm very pleased with his players. You can never escape the feeling that you can win a little more, but I do not think that we had a disastrous campaign while I was here. We won the title in the Premier League, twice League Cup, twice we were eighth-final of the Champions League and now dropped out of the semifinal. It would be nice if we could finish third, but I would not call it extraordinary, "concluded Pellegrini.
