Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been forced by manager Louis van Gaal to doigravat meeting with Sunderland (1: 2) on 13 February, although it felt much pain.
This decision of the Dutch coach could cost starring Rooney
at the European Championship in France, wrote the British media. In that match Rooney injured his knee, but remained on the field until the end. Van Gaal claimed that Rooney himself wanted to play on, but now revealed a new version. The footballer has realized how serious his injury and asked for change around the 65th minute, but Van Gaal decides otherwise.
If the connections knee Rooney had suffered even worse, he could not stay off the field to nine months. Now the striker is expected to recover until mid-April and to raise the maximum form until the end of the season to be ready for Euro 2016.
