The management of Valencia decided to fire Gary Neville of coaching the team.
The club thanked the work of the Englishman and wished him luck in his future endeavors.
By the end of the season Valencia coach will be Pako Ayestaran.
Ayestaran was assistant coach of Valencia for the period from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007 he was an assistant to Rafael Benitez at Liverpool.
Ayestaran was head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv, which became shampion and twice triumphed Cup of Israel. He also led the team of Santos Laguna and Estudiantes Tecos.
