Accused player of the Premier League in violation of betting


The defender Martin Demichelis from Manchester City has been charged by the Football Association in England because of "violation in connection with betting."


A statement from the FA on Wednesday says: "It is said that the player is connected to 12 violations of the rules of the Football Association, which relate to football matches between January 22 and January 28, 2016."

The national player of Argentina must respond to the Football Association until April 5.

FA rules prohibit players in England to bet on any matches worldwide. The players in the country can not bet and events related to football - transfers of players from one club to another, changing coaches and any changes at management level in the clubs.

The players in England is forbidden to "provide information to someone who can use it betting."
