Infantino organize a friendly match between South and North Korea

FIFA president Gianni Infantino wants to organize a friendly match between the national teams of South and North Korea to warm relations between the two countries.

Infantino is visiting Seoul, which coincides with a period of very tense relations between the two countries. According to the newly elected president of FIFA, a match between the two countries would "demonstrate the spirit of football as a sport that unites and crosses borders."

"We all work together on such a meeting. I am ready to help in any way possible. Sometimes imagination and dreams can become a reality," said Infantino in Seoul.

The last South and North Korea played a friendly match in 2005 in Seoul, but soon all joint sport events between the two countries concluded.
