Brutal battle at the bottom of the Premier League


Involved in the battle for rescue teams in the Premiership tied things to the extreme.

Newcastle won their household Crystal Palace 1: 0. Led by Rafael Benitez's team won goal of Andros Taunzent in the 58th minute. The visitors missed a penalty after Cabaye was not accurate from the penalty spot in the 70th minute of the match.


They now have 33 points and are above the relegation line, but with two games over Norwich. "Canaries" play later tonight against Arsenal away from home.

Another team involved in a battle for salvation - Sunderland make 1: 1 away to Stoke City. Arnautovic gave the home team in the 50th minute, but a penalty at the end of the match Defoe made it 1: 1. So Sunderland has assets in his 32 points and is in the relegation zone.

Watford drew guests from Aston Villa 3: 2 with late goals from Troy Dean and Everton deal with Bournemouth and won 2: 1.
