Manchester City aim for first final in Champions League


Manchester City is facing one of the biggest matches in recent decades - the first semifinal of the Champions League against giants Real Madrid.

After dropping in the early stages in the previous two years, now the English team's first semi-final after the one in RNC (Cup Winners' Cup) in 1971.


"For us it is very important to reach the final because it will be a reflection of our work over the past three years," said the manager Manuel Pellegrini. "The way this is done is also important not to see Manchester City to defend itself."

"I want to see my team play football and doing well enough to beat Real Madrid and is final," added Pellegrini.

He added that he was pleased with the results to date at Manchester City, it is already clear that leaving the club summer.
