New Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has placed Dani Carvajal from Real Madrid on one of the top places in his list of desired players.
Carvajal's contract with Real was 2020 and this means that prospective buyer defender will have to prepare a substantial sum to redeem him from the "white ballet".
31-year-old Pablo Zabaleta and 33-year-old Bacary Sagna are not included in the plans of Guardiola for next season and he wants to attract Carvajal from Real Madrid.
"Citizens" will have to pull at least 25 million euros to lure the Spanish international.
Several clubs monitor the situation carefully about Carvajal and can also participate in the bidding for his signature. Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are part of those teams.
