Mеssi sued these that accused him in tax evasion

Lionel Messi will sue the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists ( "ICIJ") and the German newspaper "Süddeutsche Zeitung" because of false information about revelations that Argentina participate in the network for tax fraud in Panama.

It is also expected Messi to make a formal statement on the findings of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists ( "ICIJ") and the German newspaper "Süddeutsche Zeitung".

Messi and his father Jorge will have to appear before the tribunal because they are accused of crimes against the state treasury. They face three charges and the case will be watched on 31 May, 1, 2 and 3 June, according to the Supreme Court of Catalonia.

This means that the case will be held three days after the Champions League final, which is in Milan, and before the sum of the national team of Argentina for the Copa America.

The court does not comply with the opinion of the prosecutor Barcelona who advocated suing only the father of Messi as the player is not dealt with taxes.

Lionel Messi and his father Jorge was indicted in 2013, they declined € 4.16 million of taxes affecting income from selling the image of Argentine superstar.

Diversion of tax payment was made through the creation of fictitious companies in Belize and Uruguay, considered a tax haven.

Prosecutors demanded 18 months in prison for Leo and Jorge Messi and a fine of two million euros.
