Sunday's derby between Roma and Lazio Roma could prove historic in that it will be the most poorly attended match between blood enemies in all their rivalry.
The match of the first half of the season was also boycotted by a large number of fans from both countries protested by draconian security measures. Then the sale of 35,000 tickets was accepted as a very poor result. Now, however, the figure could be even worse.
Newspaper "Corriere dello Sport" claims that "Olimpico" there will be no more than 30 thousand spectators. So far, supporters of "Lazio" purchased 3000 passes, while Roma - around 6000.
Charge for the match itself I do not think because it may be the last for quite important players on both sides. This applies both to the icon of Roma Francesco Totti (club president James Palo does not intend to renew his contract as a player for next season) and his teammate miralem pjanić (whose transfer to another team seems increasingly likely) and for Antonio Candreva Felipe Anderson, Billy Lucas (all monitored by a number of European grandees) and veteran Miroslav Klose from Lazio.
