Harry Redknapp: Sturridge should lead the attack for England, not Vardy and Kane

The experienced Harry Redknapp said Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge should be the titular striker "Three Lions" at the upcoming European Championships in France rather than those in excellent shape Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy.

Sturridge recording only his seventh match "red" this season with the visit of West Ham in the Cup of England on Tuesday. The Englishman has been plagued by a series of injuries that prevented him to be in line for most of the season.
But Redknapp believes England are currently no better striker Sturridge, comparing it with the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
"He is very good. I sincerely believe that he is the best English footballer. Sturridge sometimes do things that only make players like Lionel Messi and Neymar, "said Redknapp.
"Every time he got the ball, you know something will happen. His control and ability of small distances are evident, although he had just returned from injury. Sturridge will make a huge difference to Liverpool, "said the experienced specialist.
