Wenger admitted: Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered severe heavy

The young attacking player of Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain apparently will soon be able to play. The manager of "Arsenal" Arsene Wenger has revealed that his knee injury proved to be serious.

However, it is unclear how much time will be sidelined. The youngster was injured during the match against Barcelona in the Champions League during the week and until today it became clear that his problem is actually serious.

"We lost Oxus. Unfortunately, there are severe knee injury and lose him for a few weeks. How many exactly, I still can not tell you. At the moment he sees a specialist and then we will know more about his condition."

"I hope we have good news. I very much hope to be absent more than three weeks instead of six or seven, or even more. This problem is new to him, may not be too heavy," said Wenger.

Throughout the season, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been plagued by a series of different injuries. In October last year he received an injury that kept him long in the infirmary, and now appeared a new problem.
