John Terry: I do not talk to anyone from Chelsea bosses

Chelsea captain John Terry said he had no communication with people from the club since he announced his departure at the end of the season.

35-year-old central defender said last week that it has not received a proposal for a new contract by the club, despite expectations for dialogue.

"I was very clear that I wanted to stay. It is difficult to understand such a step. But the important part is the club. At the moment there is no communication between me and a person who can decide. But I will never forget the moments here will always live with them, "said Terry, who has more than 700 official appearances for the Blues from 1998 and onwards. Dutchman Guus Hiddink, who will lead the team next season, declined to comment on the situation. Early last week, he gently hinted that there may be shift in club policy and Terry to stay on the "Stamford Bridge", but then refused to enter into details.
