Leeds dropped out of Watford in the FA Cup after a ridiculous own goal


The team of Leeds United was eliminated in a very ridiculous way of the Cup of England. In a match of the fifth round of the competition glorious English team lost to Watford after an own goal by Scott Wootton 53-minute meeting.


Although home win came after an own goal, players of Watford deserved far more success.

Players Manager Quique Sanchez Flores totally outplayed his opponent and reasonably well until victory. Already in the first half the team of Watford impose its tempo game and several times came close to opening the score.

But that was early in the second half. After the ball from the right flank, trying to clear the ball, Wootton slammed the leather ball in his own net.

A little later the hosts realized second goal by Etienne Capoue, but it was canceled for offside.

Throughout the match the hosts headed more than 15 beats the opposition goal, while the visitors were content with only three.

So Watford continues into the next phase of the tournament.

Earlier today, Arsenal failed to deal with Hull and will have to replay their match. Next continues Reding, who had no trouble with West Bromwich Albion, beating by 3: 1.
