Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka is one of the options for new coach of Valencia after the end of this season, according to Spanish media.
Karanka took over Middlesbrough on 13 November 2013. Currently the team is fighting for direct promotion to the Premier League after last year failed in the playoffs.
Karanka is likely to replace Gary Neville a coaching position in Valencia, as the club was impressed by his work in the team from the Championship.
Karanka's contract with Middlesbrough was the summer of 2019 and his desire to lead the team in the Premiership.
Karanka agent is Jorge Mendes, which further increases the chances of a specialist to take Valencia.
Aitor Karanka was assistant coach Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
Manuel Pellegrini and Jorge Sampaoli are the other two coaches who inflect for deputies Gary Neville.
