Bayern rejected two new stars of Germany

20-year-old Leroy Sanne (Schalke) and Julian Vajgl (Borussia Dortmund) are undoubtedly two of the biggest young stars of German football. They have already established themselves as full members of their teams and Sanne
even longer recording debut for the national team.

But what is the other common between the two? The fact that Sanne and Vajgl have been rejected by Bayern Munich in their teens.
In October 2013, when the potential of the already 18-year-old Sanne was visible, Bayern have discussed the possibility to attract the player, but ultimately decided not to do so.

Wrong move, as Sanne continue to play great for teenagers Schalke, and in March 2014 won his first professional contract with the club which only 23 days later was extended until 2019. During this season Sanne has 6 goals and 5 assists in 33 games.
Vajgl was closer to Bayern. In 2010 the youth of Rosenheim passes samples at Bayern, but is not approved by the coaching staff. Thus midfielder goes into city rivals 1860 Munich, where turned pro in February 2014, and in the summer of 2015 had attracted about 2.5 million euros from Borussia Dortmund. His contract with "yellow and black" up to 2019.
