Werder Bremen striker Claudio Pizarro will miss the visit on Saturday of his former club Bayern Munich for groin injury, reported by the German club.
"These are bad news. On the one hand Claudio looked forward to returning to Myuhnen, on the other - we are now without three key players," said Werder coach Viktor Skripnik.
Pizarro scored five goals in the last two matches of Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga and has 100 goals for the club, one less than top scorer No. 1 in the history of Werder Marco Bode.
The other two players who will miss the visit of Bayern are Zlatko Yanukovych and Clemens Fritz.
Yanukovych and Fritz were fined € 20,000 by the Football Federation of Germany after it was found that they have earned quite deliberately cartons win over Hanover 4: 1 to not play against Bayern.
