Porto president Jorge Pinto da Costa was disappointed with the performance of goalkeeper Iker Casillas for the team.
"Our Casillas was proposed by his agent who told us that he wanted to play at a high level to the contract he was supposed to be №1. Signing it turned out to be a mistake, he did not meet expectations," said the president of " dragons ".
"Because of him we are not fighting for the championship and dropped from the Champions League. His salary is not in the pocket of the club, and this will be our best transfer if he signed with a club in the US," added Pinto.
The contract with Porto goalkeeper for another season, but part of his salary, which amounts to € 6,000,000 continue to be paid by Real Madrid.
