Hummels: The atmosphere of Dortmund, Mainz reminded me of the tragedy in Paris

The atmosphere in the stands during the match between Borussia Dortmund and Mainz on Sunday reminded of this during the ill-fated control between France and Germany in Paris in November, which took place during the terrorist attacks in the French capital. This acknowledged master of "yellow and black" Mats Hummels, who participated in both matches in question.

Clash Dortmund - Mainz was marred by the death of a fan of Borussia, who had a heart attack in the stands. Another supporter also had a heart attack, but fortunately the second case was not fatal.

The terraces of "westfalenstadion" silent after what happened, but Hummels has admitted that unknown what was happening was similar to the feeling of the match in Paris where, in coordinated attacks had taken 130 lives.

"I definitely was not an ordinary (atmosphere) opposite. This is something I experienced only in Paris," said Hummels.

"The atmosphere was somehow quiet feel to some confusion. It was quite strange. Immediately after the game informed us, but it was clear that something had happened."

"You understand it is not easy to keep your concentration in such an unusual atmosphere. We did well (to win the match), although this is not the main thing."
