Joaquin Caparros is the main favorite to succeed Vicente del Bosque to the post of national coach Spain after the European Championship in France, says "AS".
According to information Kaparos rejected offers from Malaga, Espanyol and Valencia in recent weeks as it awaits an invitation to lead the national team of Spain.
Vicente del Bosque has already announced he will step down from the post he currently holds namely after the European Championship in France.
The other names that inflect for national coach of Spain Ernesto Valverde, Unai Emery, Paco Hemes and Julen Lopetegui.
Valverde, however, renew his contract with Athletic Bilbao, while Emery has a current contract with Sevilla and Hems with Rayo Vallecano.
Lopetegi spoil relations with the Spanish Football Federation since stepped down as coach of the youth national team to take on Porto, where, however, failed and was fired.
The secretary of the Spanish Federation Jorge Perez late last year announced that Kaparos is listed first.
Joaquin Kaparos is known well by Del Bosque and also maintains very good relationships with major players like Sergio Ramos, Gerard Pique and Andres Iniesta.
Kaparos also knows the youth and youth formations of the Spanish national team, as well as schools of various club teams.
