The management of Zenit St Petersburg is in advanced talks with Manuel Pellegrini, according to Russian press.
According to information from Zenit have offered a salary of € 4 million of Chilean specialist.
Pellegrini is the only candidate for the coaching post at Zenit and the club is in talks only with him.
Still no agreement is reached between the two sides but negotiations are at an advanced stage.
By Zenit have offered a contract for two years Pellegrini, but the representative of the Chilean want a four-year contract.
Manuel Pellegrini also wants to personally might manages the team and to retain key players like Hulk, Ezequiel Garay and Danny.
Pellegrini will also sell Javi Garcia. The Spanish midfielder leaped in Zenith namely after transfer from Manchester City.
André Villas-Boas still a few months ago announced it would leave the coaching post at Zenit.
