Villas Boas pause accused Russia for Zenit elimination

Zenit coach André Villas-Boas gave dropping his team's Champions League calendar in Russian football.  St. Petersburg grand was eliminated in the second round in the competition after two defeats by Benfica, but
85 minutes into the second match had huge chances to go ahead.

Mourinho complained that Russia is too big break in the championship and this has affected the shape of his boys. According to him, if these battles were a little later, his team would look quite differently.
"After two months have not played football very difficult to get back sharpness in attack and shape. Unlike us, Benfica is in the best shape and this influenced the final result. Because you can see that we scored goals later in both games. "
"We had a great event and I think it had to qualify for the quarterfinals, deserved it. But in the first game we scored an undeserved last minute and now missed dozens of positions."
"And last but not least, the keeper of Benfica made a game of life and amazing save situations. They met two great teams and obviously better keep going," said Villas Boas after the game.
