Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has warned players how serious the stakes of their survival in the Premier League.
"Magpies" are three points below the line before today's visit of Norwich, which is a team that is also involved in the battle at the bottom.
"I talked to all the players and they understand how important it is for us to stay in the Premier League," said Benitez, who has never fallen to a lower division as coach. "All are responsible for the situation and must give their best to change it."
"They will not have it easy to leave, because they would lose their value. If we fall, it will be bad for all of us. It's not just about career money. It's never easy when you are doing badly in their work. I think everybody knows it. My players have enough experience, "added Benitez.
