Arsenal footballer Mesut Ozil has revealed that it plans to rush into signing a new contract with the club.
The German international joined the "Gunners" in the summer of 2013 from Real Madrid for the sum of 42 million pounds signing a 5-year contract with Chelsea.
However unconvincing start of his stay at "Emirates" in this championship 27-year-old midfielder demonstrated in the best way its class, considering with 6 goals and 18 assists in the Premier League.
"Definitely no reason to hurry, as the end of my current contract remain another two years. Let's wait to end the campaign, "said the German international.
Ozil said and what he says has proved decisive on his team not to win the first title in the Premier League since 2004. Three rounds before the end "Gunners" occupy the fourth position in the standings with a total of 64 points, 12 goals behind leaders Leicester.
"I think we had our chances to win the title, but unfortunately we lost too many points and that of the smaller teams," he added.
