Hooligans that beat referee in Trabzon, already arrested


Turkish authorities have identified two of Trabzonspor supporters who attacked the side judge during a derby with Fenerbahce. Both are minors. Because of their events derby was terminated.


Fenerbahce led the score with 4: 0 when the home team fans invaded the pitch and attacked assistant referee behind the byline, picked Volkan Bayarslan. After this incident the chief arbiter decided to suspend the meeting in 89 minutes.

Minors hooligans demolished referee Bayarslan the ground and press it on top before the police to release him from his grip. He was kicked and punched by hooligans.

State news agency Anadolu Azhansa announced today that one 17-year-old high school student with initials O.M., and the name and surname of the other is not known. But he was arrested and is currently being interrogated at the station in Trabzon.
