Liverpool and Burnley still arguing for Danny Ings

Liverpool and Burnley will organize a meeting of their representatives in the coming days, which should resolve the dispute between clubs regarding striker Danny Ings. On Tuesday, executives from both countries will attend the meeting of a special independent tribunal to resolve the dispute.

England international passed the "Anfield" as a free agent in the summer of 2015 as his contract with the Championship team fell in from East Lancashire expires. Since the transfer became the "Bosman" and because of the age of Ings (23 years) Liverpool still owe compensation to Burnley.
Negotiations started back then, but so far without causing any more progress. According to unconfirmed information Liverpool has offered four million pounds of colleagues who are not sure whether they want to accept. For comparison Tottenham was ready to pay for Ings targets 11 million pounds shortly before his transfer to "Anfield" to happen. Suspected Burnley pursue amount greater than those 6.5 million pounds that Chelsea paid Manchester City in 2009 for Daniel Sturridge. That amount was determined also to tribunal.
The striker started promising debut season with 2 goals in 5 games, but has not played since October, when snapped cruciate ligament in his knee.
