Manchester City, the only English club in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, is likely to be without Yaya Toure, Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany for the first leg of the quarter finals against France Paris Saint-Germain.
But the news is good for Samir Nasri and Kevin De Bruyne, who came in group matches of the national championship against Bournemouth.
"It's hard to say what will happen to the three. I'm not sure 100 percent but is unlikely to be ready for the game on Wednesday. Especially for Yaya, I can say that in our last match even game with knee pain" manager Manuel Pellegrini said at a news conference before the circle.
"It is extremely important to complete as much as possible ahead in the standings," he said before the visit against Bournemouth.
