Master of Europa League took Bilbao and a step away from the top 4


The team of Sevilla demonstrates once again that when it comes to the Europa League, rarely anyone can build on Andalusians. The team achieved a victory with a 2: 1 over Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish derby quarterfinals in the tournament and thus came as close to a place in the semifinals and continue defending the trophy.

The first danger in Bilbao was the visitors after 23 minutes as goals to close was Eber Banega, whose powerful shot was saved brilliantly by Iago Ererin. After half an hour Iñaki Williams shot close, but class demonstrated watchman's goalkeeper David Soria.
Just three minutes later Sevilla missed a glorious chance to hit. Victor Vito was set up perfectly, but his shot was brilliantly saved by Ererin.
Last-minute score for Bilbao were the hosts missed twice by Aricia Aduriz, who hit the right side column by Iker Muniain, whose attempt was blocked by the defense of Seville.
After many gaps in the first half, just three minutes after the resumption of the game in the second half and fell first goal of the match. The hosts took the lead after a cross from Muniain was detected by Aricia Aduriz who headed scored the 1: 0.
The advance of Bilbao did not last long, and so the main fault was to Muniain, who in the 55th minute mistake roughly in defense while trying to pass to his goalkeeper. Eber Banega snatched the ball and passed to Timothy Kolodzheychak, who was not a problem to score in the unguarded goal.
After tying goal followed nearly 30 calmer minutes without positions the two doors. Seven minutes before the end, however Seville inflict decisive blow. Kevin Gameyro released a superb pass in the corridor Vicente Ibora that only slightly deviate so sent the ball into the net for the final 2: 1.
The second leg in Seville is Thursday, April 14.
