Sergio Ramos was actually a step away from United

Central defender of Real Madrid Sergio Ramos revealed that really had no offer from Manchester United last summer on that thought. Ultimately, however, the Spanish international remained faithful to "moose blankos" and made no secret of his desire to finish his career on "Santiago Bernabeu".

After the heavy end of last season Future Ramos was questionable and "Reds" tried to take advantage of the situation. At the time, Ramos was in serious rift with president Florentino PPeres before them to smooth things out. Everything resonates in a new contract for the Spanish veteran and United had to redirect his attention elsewhere.

Ramos admitted he was flattered by the serious interest of the English giants. "There was a clear offer that arrived writing. For a moment I wondered whether to change the situation. Real Madrid has always been my priority, "said Ramos.

"I felt disappointed, but not because of the financial aspect, as most people said. I have not heard anything about interest from Chelsea. Constantly talk some things. The interest of big clubs always a good thing because it means that you are doing well. While fans and Real want me here, I'll stay. My priority was always to finish my career here, "added the 30-year-old defender.
