Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has vowed that will score 100 goals for the club on Wednesday after recording its jubilee 50th goal in the derby against Everton.
England international came off the bench because of injury Divock Origi and almost immediately scored the game that went under the total domination of "red". So Sturridge now has 50 goals in 87 appearances for Liverpool as Fernando Torres only managed to achieve the same number hits faster.
"My father and my brother are the people who are excited by these things. I'm just trying to play and to score as much as possible, "said Sturridge.
"It's great that we now have 50 goals. I will not pretend to be hit and not to admit that I'm pleased with the way the deal. But the future is in front of me. It is important to understand that the next target is 100 goals, "added the former Chelsea player.
