The team of Verona maintain minimal chances of staying in Serie A after the last match of the 31st round of Serie A win with 1: 0 away to Bologna.
The only goal of the match fell after 42 minutes when Federico Viviani corner kick and found the perfect Samir, who rose highest and headed the ball to the right corner for 1: 0.
In the 66th minute the hosts had an excellent chance to equalize, but Luca Rizzo was blocked bravely by sliding player guests.
Again Rizzo could have scored after 83 minutes, but his shot from about point penalty was brilliantly reflected from Verona goalkeeper Pierluigi naked.
So Verona ended up three points which increase the asset on 22 points, but left the team last place, 6 points behind first above the relegation zone Carpi. Bologna is calm about his future in the top flight since with a total of 36 points occupies the 12th position.
