The coach of Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane admitted that star striker
Karim Benzema was "upset" after was drafted into the team of France for
the upcoming European Championship.
"I talked to him. I will not go into the decision
of the French Federation, but he is quite upset by all this. It is sad and angry because he wanted to be part of this team at this tournament, "said Zidane.
"It can help a lot to the national team because he is a great player. I am sure, however, that Benzema will continue to do an excellent job for us. I can not comment on whether the decision is right or not, but I will continue to support him and reassure him, "said the French expert.
