Pep takes over Manchester City even if the team didn't qualify for Champions League

Pep Guardiola will take over Manchester City in the summer regardless of whether the club finished the season in the top 4 or not.

Pep signed a three-year contract with Manchester City in the summer and will replace Manuel Pellegrini after leaving Bayern, but may be it will not participate in next season's Champions League.

The contract Guardiola has no clause to allow him to escape if his club performs poorly.

Now Manchester City is in fourth place, but only point advance over West Ham and Manchester United.

In the quarterfinals of the Champions League Manchester City will face Paris Saint-Germain.
