Sunderland hands on valuable points, with magic at the end

Fabio Borini
Sunderland drew valuable point in their battle for survival with a late masterpiece household Crystal Palace. The game of "Stadium of Light" ends in a draw 2: 2, at the last minute Fabio Borini real masterpiece leveled the score for "black cats".

Otherwise, until recently hero for Sunderland Connor Wickham scored twice for London "eagles" but that was not enough for success. Before his hits were tallied Dame N'Diaye, but all this was not enough for victory for either of the two teams. With discharged at the end of three points even more visitors are without a win in the Premier League on 19 December last year.

The game started with a double-edged attacks on doors. The first chance was revealed to Patrick van Aanholt from the composition of the hosts, but his shot was too imprecise to hinder guard of Palace.

After equivalent first minutes, the guests from London took the initiative and had some very interesting opportunities to discover the outcome. First in the 10th minute Wilfred Zaha found himself in shooting position, but shoot very wide wide.

Only four minutes later and Connor Wickham could find for "eagles" but his shot was expertly reflected by the guard of the hosts. But visiting team continued to pour and make more interesting positions.

In another of them Jordan Much could have scored after 21 minutes, but his shot flew just wide, although it was a very advantageous position. And another chance squandered then Dan Scott.

His shock was quite strong and well placed, but this time intervened goalkeeper Vito Mannone, who was steadfast and tipped with one hand gets under the crossbar ball to preserve the status quo.

The hosts do not rely only on defense, and did quite dangerous barbs. And one of them came to the lead in the 36th minute. Then Dame N'Doye shoots from distance, the ball neatly into the body of a defender and deceived goalkeeper Palace to the back of the net for his 1: 0.

That was the last interesting position before the break, but then her luck finally smiled at the guests from London. And what a denouement ahead in the second half for them.

Their efforts paid off in the 60th minute when finally scored goal and leveled. Its author was Connor Wickham. Former Sunderland player with a nice curled shot got past Vito Mannone after the ball neatly in the side bar, tangled in his net for 1: 1.

Palace continue to play a much more inspired in the second half, but Connor Wickham would not stop harassing defense of his former team. And in 67 minutes, created a full twist to silence the stands of the stadium, which previously worshiped him.

Then Dan Scott was off a ball hooked and left uncovered and undisturbed Wickham from goal area straight shoot Vito Mannone to make the score 2: 1. And fully deserved.

After this turn 'black cats' tried to fight back, but the pressure they were mostly chaotic. Protection of "eagles" now easier to cope with situations of Sunderland. Meanwhile, the Contras in their Londoners were quite dangerous, but Wickham and Yannick Bolasie failed to score a third goal.

By the end the hosts tried to get at least a point fondly missed, but their pressure was too chaotic. In the rare moments when we come to dangers, however, the keeper of the Palace refused them.

It does not seem that this result will change, but so came the moment of magic from Fabio Borini last minute of normal time. Italian get the ball right into the box and without slowing down with a powerful routine volley sent the ball into the far corner, tying the score 2: 2.

It was everything in this match both teams took only a point. It is far more important to "black cats" in their fight for survival. Palace do now is two and a half months without a victory and should also be looking for pursuers around the danger zone.
