Alvaro Recoba officially stopped football


The former Inter Milan star Alvaro Recoba officially terminate his football career. Uruguay has not played since 2015 onwards, but thus far refused to end his days as a player.


40-year-old will hang up the boots on the wall after a friendly match tonight, which will be played in front of other notable figures of "Inter" as Francesco Toldo and Javier Zanetti.

His career Inter finished with 175 matches and 54 goals, then Recoba had a brief stay in Turin before returning to Uruguay to wear teams Danubio and Nacional.
