"Everyone knows that Manchester City and Actual Madrid have great players. We're tough no doubt, however they've an ideal group of players and good coaches."
Simeone is happy to take on Pep Guardiola's Bayern within the final 4, with the first leg to be performed on April 27.
"We all the time attempt to respect each opinion," the coach said.
"The only thing we can say is that it's a very nice opportunity for us no doubt, and a huge challenge."
