UEFA has started disciplinary proceedings against Liverpool


UEFA has started disciplinary proceedings against Liverpool after the match of the quarterfinals of the Europa League against Borussia Dortmund, says the official website of the organization.
The second leg was played last Thursday in Liverpool and ended with a dramatic victory in the final minutes the home team a 4: 3, which ranked England ahead in the tournament. However, UEFA opened an investigation because the use of fireworks and flares in the stadium.

The case will be considered on May 19 at a meeting of ethical and disciplinary committee of UEFA.
Previously, European soccer's governing body launched an investigation against Borussia blocking entrances to the stadium in Germany, and to Liverpool for throwing and use of fireworks by fans.
