Fans honor the memory of Enke

Supporters of the German elite team came to the Hanover stadium to mark the first year of the tragic death of goalkeeper Robert Enke, writes site goal.com.

German national himself ended his life this day a year ago. Now fans wrote in the condolences book and honored the memory of Enke, whose death still has a huge impact on everyone who is connected with the club.

"This is the most beautiful moment when someone has left a deep imprint in the hearts of all. Robert, we miss you," wrote one fan.

Club president Martin Kindt said: "Robert will always be a part of us. Memories of last year have not disappeared. Robert was a popular figure and a great guy. I will always remember him."

Enke, who was 32 years, has played eight times for the national team of Germany. Last year, Hanover goalkeeper threw himself under a train in the town of Neustadt 25 km from Hanover.

The watchman of the team is passing train slammed into their car. According to his wife Teresa footballer suffering from chronic mental disorder (depression) and feared that if made public, the authorities would take their daughter Leila, a family adopted in May last year.
