Capello to players: Stop drinking

The coach of England national team Fabio Capello has warned England players not to drink much because it will shorten their careers of professional athletes, British media reported.

Several English players were photographed how drink alcohol, but the photos were published in the British press.

This happened after dropping out of England World Cup in 2010 after the defeat of Germany 0:4 second round.

Manchester City and England Joe Hart, Adam Johnson and Gareth Barry were photographed how consume alcoholic beverages during a party at St. Andrews, Scotland.

"I saw the pictures. That's life, but players must be careful. Always when visiting the bar, pub or hotel, players must be very careful. With a cell phone can make and send lots of pictures.

These are modern communications. You can know everything about the privacy of players. Then each photo appears in Facebook and people say what they want, "said Capello.

Ancelotti knows that in England the consumption of alcohol among most of the players is a tradition, but does not accept this fact.

"I know a lot about the lives of Italian and Spanish players. They like to drink while eating, not afterwards. I know that in England drinking is a culture. Some players do it constantly.

When a player drink, his career will be much shorter. I can not accept that a professional athlete should drink lots of alcohol after each of his matches, "said Fabio Capello.
