The court gave permission for the sale of Liverpool

Liverpool owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks lost the lawsuit, which sought to block the sale of the club.

Judge Christopher Floyd by the Supreme Court ruled against the owners Gillett and Hicks, thereby supporting the board of Liverpool and recognized their right to negotiate with the U.S. company New England Sports Ventures, owner of baseball's Boston Red Socks.

According to the judge's decision Americans Hicks and Gillett have the power to stop the managerial board and their decision to sell before the deadline to 15 October, when Bank of Scotland "should be returned to 200 million pounds debt.

If this amount to be paid, then multiples of 18 champions of England and five-time European champions will go into administration, but the team will be lost 9 points.

The board agreed to sell the club of "New England Sports Ventures" for 300 million pounds. These owners, however, said the price was far below the real value of the club.

The sale of the most successful English club was approved by the board of the Premier League so that the final deal for the sale of Liverpool at New England Sports Ventures will be finalized very soon.
