Juventus and club legend Alessandro Del Piero are before separation, which will happen this summer, reports Italian press.
According to Gazeta dello Sport the club has decided not to renew the contract of striker, which expires at the end of the season.
Thus, 17-year period of Del Piero in Turin will be completed next summer.
Reportedly, Del Piero intends to abandon his football career, which led to speculation that he will assume executive role in Juve.
The blade, however, considered to focus on the games until the end of the season.
Del Piero is one goal of improving the record of club legend Giampiero Boniperti of 178 goals in Italian Cup. Del Piero has 177 goals so far in Serie A.
