Clubs of English football's elite receive most revenue from sponsorship of their shirts in the six top leagues in Europe, dpa reported, citing a study by the consultancy company "Sport Markt".
20 teams from the Premier League earn a total of 128 million euros this season, which is 44.5 million euros more than last campaign.
German clubs did receive a total of 118.5 million euros, which increased by 9.9 million compared to last season.
Thirdly are the teams of Serie A with 65.9 million euros, to the elite clubs of France (58.7 million), Spain (57.5) and Holland (42).
Manchester United and Liverpool are the teams who take most of the season - at 23.6 million euros respectively by financial giants AON and Standard Chartered Bank.
Real Madrid gets 23 million from the company bookmaker Bwin, and Bayern Munich is fourth with 22 million of German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom.
Bundesliga clubs remain on top in revenue per team of 6.6 million euros. Premier League was second with an average of 6.4 million club.
