Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta will have to give the team's financial losses in court after that decision was taken by the Board of Directors of the club.
The first meeting of the new leadership of Barcelona, with President Sandro Rossetti, cast 439 votes for and 29 against to sue the previous owner.
"This is the most important decision in club history. It has nothing to do with the personality of Laporta and we are not embarrassed by it," he said Rosen.
Barcelona president revealed that financial losses last season were 77.1 million euros.
Speaking before the meeting Joan Laporta announced he will not attend the meeting because he was denied the right to explain the losses and to protect its business.
