Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson last night completely restore its control over the battle with striker Wayne Rooney, refusing to show activity in January transfer window, writes the Daily Mail.
Furthermore, the Scottish specialist warned its star that he might not return to the starting line-up of the "Red Devils" by December.
After helping 25-year-old striker to become the most expensive footballer in the history of the club, Ferguson was quick to make sure that English football is aware that his treatment will not be any different than any other player on the team.
Ignoring Rooney requested by prospective new signings, Ferguson insisted that United's transfer policy has not changed since the striker signed a new five-year contract.
Furthermore, the manager gave clear that Rooney, who view the victory over Tottenham in the stands at Old Trafford yesterday, will return to its composition, when he decides.
Form of Dimitar Berbatov and Javier Hernandez is excellent at present and this enables Scot leaving Rooney to fully recover from his injury in his ankle before returning it to the ground.
"We definitely will not buy new players in January," Ferguson cut and ignored the concerns of Wayne Rooney on the strength of the team.
"We will stay another five months to the end of the season and we will take a new player in February, when Valencia will return, and maybe another in the face of Owen Hargreaves. With the team that I see no reason to buy someone" said Sir Alex.
"There's always money to spend, but that does not necessarily mean that this summer will show greater activity in the transfer market than usual.'ll Buy only what we know, and we know what we need," said he .
Scottish specialist announced that Rooney has no way to return to the pitch for the town derby with Manchester City on 10 th November.
"It may take five weeks before he returns, because we need to fully recover and regain form.
There is no chance he is ready for the match against Manchester City on 10 th November. Everyone wants a player who was sidelined for several weeks to be ready 100 percent, not to fail, "said United manager.
