Berbatov grateful to Sir Alex and his teammates

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov expressed his gratitude to the team's manager Sir Alex Ferguson and his teammates for the role they have played in perhaps the best season of the Bulgarian Red Devils.

29-year-old made an exceptional start to his third campaign at Old Trafford and there are two awards for best player in September.

Former Bulgarian captain has six goals of the bill so far, but most impressive were his three goals against Liverpool, which brought valuable victory for his team.

Berbatov failed to sign a Saturday, but was one of the best on the pitch for United for Equality 2:2 with West Brom, writes the official site of the Red Devils.

The striker admitted he receives great support from both the manager and by his teammates, which helps him to maintain his positive adjustment.

"It is important to have faith in myself all the time. Not only when you score goals, but not when you go. Every player has difficult moments in his career, it has to pass," said Berbatov.

"Sometimes we underestimate. You start to think bad things should not go through your head. It is then the manager and teammates can help you.

Even using them to be expressed only in a "Hello, how are you?". Sometimes small gestures are most important, "concluded the striker of Manchester United.
