Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta to defend itself from criticism against him and former board of directors.
On Saturday, the club's new president Sandro Rosen reported 77.1 million financial loss the previous season and an increase in debt to 430 million.
He accused Laporta some unaccounted costs that have affected the poor balance, loss in the period 2003-2007 amounted to 48.7 million.
The new owner plans to sue former president and other leaders due to poor financial condition.
"I do not accept such accusations. In this way an attempt to smear my name and the other members of the board of directors. I am ready to defend themselves against this immoral and cynical ploy and firmly believe that honest and impeccably served the club" said Laporta at a news conference today.
